MIDDELBURG NEWS – The Grootfontein College of Agriculture’s choir emerged as victors upon conclusion of the 2017 National Agricultural Colleges Choral Competition held this past weekend.
This was the first time ever that this prestigious event was held in Middelburg.
The 40-strong choir shrugged off stiff competition from six other choirs to win this year’s edition of this annual choral music competition.
Other choirs that participated at the competition were Tompi Seleka ATI (Limpopo), Cedara ATI (KwaZulu-Natal), Taung ATI and Potchefstroom ATI (North West), Fort Cox ATI, Grootfontein ATI and Tsolo ATI (Eastern Cape).
