GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Middelburg Karoo Agricultural Information Day and the association's annual year end function took place recently at Rusoord Venue and Farmstay.

Bo-Suurberg-, Willows-, Rooihoogte-, Schoombee- and Nooitgedacht Farmers Associations attended the event and farmers from Noupoort and Nieu-Bethesda also travelled to Middelburg.

The following sponsors made this special function possible: RPO National, RPO Eastern Cape, Agri Eastern Cape, De Heus, Tasc, OVK, BKB and SPAR.

Marius van der Westhuizen (De Heus), Dr Frikkie Maré (RPO National), Frik van Rooyen (RPO Eastern Cape), Craig van Rensburg (Rocket Emergency Medical Services), William Moolman (Tasc), Dr Lindi Kruger (Medical Practitioner in Middelburg), Suné Lombard (Karel Theron Primary School), and Hester du Plessis (The Way) acted as guest speakers during the event.

Catering for both the women's and mens' events were handled by Carlton Heights Guesthouse and Bokfontein Sushi, whilst Ansuné Asher from Karoo Peonies did the flowers.
