NATIONAL NEWS - The team of 11 swimmers from the Royal Swimming Academy (RSA) in George, who swam at the Level 2 and 3 Regional Championships in Port Elizabeth from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 March, won a combined total of 4 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals.
All of the swimmers swam personal best times and the RSA Level 2 boys team score ranked them 8th out of the 42 participating clubs.
The four day long championships were the culmination of the swimming season and only swimmers with qualifying times could attend.
The RSA qualifiers who attended were:

Tammy Greenwood (Glenwood House Preparatory), André Kleynhans (Outeniqua High School), Lia Kotze (George South Primary), George Marais (Glenwood House), Hannah Murray (Glenwood House College), Anelda Jacobs (George South Primary) and Milan Lehnberg (George South Primary).
LEVEL 2
Marnus Kotze (Outeniqua High School), Hagen Reinstorf (George South Primary) and Matthew Seabrook (Glenwood House Preparatory).
Established in 2014, the Royal Swimming Academy, under head coach Mimette Salter, now has 160 swimmers from beginner/learn-to swim through to masters. The club continues to grow from strength to strength with junior Nationals qualifiers, Levels qualifiers, as well as Open Water Nationals top ten achievers.
