GRAAFF-REINET RUGBY NEWS - Central Veterans from Graaff-Reinet participated this past weekend in the Evergreens Sports Club 70th Anniversary held in Cradock.
Central Veterans played against a formidable Evergreens Old Boys team in front of a packed crowd, and the Veterans came out on top with a score of 31 -14. This was the Veterans' second game since their launch earlier this year at a tournament held over the Easter weekend, and so far they have an unbeaten record.
The aim of the Veterans Club is to uplift the sport in the area and support young rugby players to reach new heights in Graaff Reinet.
The team is very grateful for all the support shown so far, and especially to those who traveled to Cradock last weekend.
