GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Eastern Cape Weightlifting Youth Championship is taking place in Graaff-Reinet this coming weekend at Spandau Secondary School.
This is the first time that the tournament will be hosted in Graaff-Reinet, following the rise of the school's learners in weightlifting as three Spandau learners have received Eastern Province colours over the past four years.
The school wishes to introduce this Olympic sport to the community and urges all residents to support the event.
The championship starts at 10:00 am Saturday 4 May.
The Spandau weightlifting team would like Graaff-Reinetters to support the provincial championships at the school on Saturday 4 May.
