GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Union High’s first hockey team travelled to East London recently to participate in the very competitive Greg Beling Festival.
With a new team in action and due to poor execution, the results were not as pleasing as expected.
On Day 1, the Union girls beat GHS 1-0 and lost to Oranje Meisieskool 0-4.
On Day 2, Clarendon High School beat Union 3-0 and the girls drew 1-1 against Hudson Park. On the final day, Union lost 0-3 to Stirling.
The Union team is looking forward to the upcoming Rugby & Hockey Festival at the end of this week, and hope to produce the results for which they have worked.
