GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Last week, parkrunners roasted in the sun as temperatures soared early in the morning, with the run commencing at 07:00. The heat added an extra layer of challenge to the 5km gravel road.
A total of 56 participants put in their best effort, including 11 visitors from various towns.
The second place was claimed by Aaron Rosland from Canada.
The top five registered runners and their respective times were as follows:
- Sipho November: 20:57
- Aaron Rosland: 21:05
- Adrian Plaatjies: 21:24
- Siyanda Foendien: 22:05
- Jarrod Gerber: 22:12
Noteworthy personal best times were achieved by:
- Siyanda Foendien, securing the fourth place with a time of 22:05
- Alwyn van Jaarsveld, finishing eleventh with a time of 25:34
- Suzanne Wessels, claiming fourteenth place with a time of 31:25
- Janine Jonson, securing twenty-first place with a time of 37:15
- Megan Plaatjies, finishing twenty-second with a time of 38:01
- Sharon Plaatjies, completing in thirty-ninth place with a time of 49:49.
