SPORT NEWS - A large crowd gathered yesterday to join in the excitement, when a brigade followed by an orange and purple double-decker bus was driving from Somerset Street up in Plasket Street towards Hoër Volkskool.
Graaff-Reinet hosted the Netball World Cup-2023 Trophy Tour on 2 July, in anticipation for the upcoming Vitality Netball World Cup taking place in Cape Town from 28 July to 6 August.
The event was opened by Mr. Willem Safers, Dr. Beyers Naude Local Municipality. Various local schools, clubs and veterans participated in this event. More pictures and details to follow.
