SPORTS NEWS - Natalie Davenport is once again taking to the waters of KwaZulu-Natal to support a cause that's incredibly dear to her heart.
She's on a mission to raise funds for Choc, a childhood cancer foundation, and this isn't her first philanthropic endeavour.
Last year, Natalie raised R10 600 for the Save the Rhino Foundation through her Charity 8 Mile Swim in Pietermaritzburg. Davenport's dedication to this cause is deeply personal.
She has witnessed her loved ones battling the unforgiving grip of cancer, and it's this emotional connection that fuels her unwavering commitment. She believes that she can make a significant impact through her efforts. In preparation for the upcoming event, Natalie is working hard under the expert guidance of JP Seyffert of the Destiny Swimming School.
She dedicates four to six hours every week to rigorous training. She draws inspiration from her own family, from the aunts who displayed incredible strength and resilience in the face of cancer, to her brave uncle who continues to fight this battle today. Natalie is more determined than ever to create positive change and bring hope to those affected by childhood cancer. With her dedication and unwavering spirit, she's not just swimming in these waters; she's swimming for a brighter, cancer-free future for children in need.
