GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Thirteen-year-old Angela Vorster, a gr 7 learner of Laer Volkskool, was selected for the recent 2024 Elsie Coetzer Hockey School invitational hockey tour in the Netherlands from 26 September to 5 October.
Vorster thoroughly enjoyed the training and a visit to the amusement park in Amsterdam was an absolute highlight.
She says the hockey teams in the Netherlands are very strong and play a different type of game.
"It was a wonderful experience to make friends and gain experience. I am so grateful for the opportunity. I want to thank Elsie Coetzer who offered me this opportunity and the sponsors who made the tour possible," Vorster says.
