GRAAFF-REINET SPORT NEWS - The weather played its part when the Kairos Two-Ball Scramble Drive Day took place at the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club on Saturday 18 March.
Laced with visitors, the field produced calibre golf, with Clive Ludick and Jacques Wagener clinching the title with 52 points.

Ironically, Ludick and his 'other' partner, J Marlow, claimed the second spot, on a count-out, on 51 points.
This was due to Ludick being in a 3-ball and he had to pivot between his partners, obviously to each one's benefit.
Third place went to Archie Welman and Chris Koeberg, also on 51 points.
With 50 points, Frikkie Coetzee and Dennis Hendriks secured 4th spot, while
T Sebwa and Archie Welman (also involved in a 3-ball) ended 5th with 49 points.
- Nearest the pin on hole 4/13 was Dennis Hendriks, while Bernie Weyer claimed the honours on hole 6/15.
- SP Theron had the straightest drive on the 9/18th hole.
Without a shadow of a doubt the participants not only enjoyed the course, but tucked into the spread after proceedings were done.
