SPORT NEWS - The Karoo Sub-Union Regional League semi-finals will be played today, 9 September when the top teams from the Southern- and Northern Regions will play out to determine the teams for the finals.

In the meanwhile, the EPRU Appeals Committee conducted a hearing on the 31 August pertaining to the appeal lodged by the Graaff-Reinet Hampshires and confirmed that the points for the 1 July game should be shared between the Graaff-Reinet Hampshires and Klipplaat United. 

Based on this decision, Steytlerville United remains in the semi-finals.

On Saturday the Southern Region’s top First Division team, the Steytlerville Barbarians - 35 log points, will take on the Northern Region’s Middelburg Excelsior First Division team - 28 log points on Barbarian’s home grounds. 

Steytlerville United’s First Division team with 33 log points - Southern Region will take on the Middelburg Eagles’ First Division team with 32 log points - Northern Region on the Eagles’ home grounds. The First Division games will kick off at 15:30 this afternoon.
