NETBALL NEWS - The CC Parie Tournament played on Women’s Day, 9 August at the Newlands sports area, saw the Grace Warriors taking the cup and prize money.
The organiser of the tournament for the locals, Loretha Siyaya, is thankful to Andisiwe Ngwenya for sponsoring a trophy for the event. Four netball teams took part in the tournament - Grootfontein Agricultural College from Middleburg, the Eastcape Midlands College in Graaff-Reinet, Camdeboo Academy and Grace Warriors Netball Clubs.
Grace Warriors took the trophy home by beating Camdeboo Academy 9-8.
Eastcape Midlands ging all out against Camdeboo Academy.
