Exciting sports festival this weekend
The opening of the annual Anne Beagley Junior Rugby and Hockey Festival on the first day of the festival – which usually sees all the participating teams lined-up on Union’s Puttick field - is always a momentous occasion.

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Union High School in Graaff-Reinet will host their 20th annual Anne Beagley Junior Rugby and Hockey Festival this weekend.

It will start today, Friday 14 June.

As usual, this festival will see parents and spectators treated to displays of talent, skill and sportsmanship by many young sports stars of the future in an atmosphere of healthy competition and friendly rivalry.

Rugby and hockey teams from as far afield as Grahamstown, East London and Port Elizabeth, will compete in this much-anticipated sports festival.

Union extends an invitation to the public of Graaff-Reinet to support the teams in their respective matches.
