GRAAFF-REINET BOWLING NEWS - Graaff-Reinet bowlers are happy to be back on the bowling green, with 16 pitching up for the Kekkel en Kraai Fun Day at the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club on Saturday.
Pam Neuweiler of the club said that the fun-filled event, sponsored by Mervin Renison and Thinus Ferreira from Kekkel en Kraai, was enjoyed by all.
Of course, great fun comes with great competition, and Pierre Harmse and Niel Colyn were deserving winners on the day. In second place were Alid Els and Shawn West.
Bowlers are reminded that the Spar Handicap Pairs will take place Saturday, 5 September.
Club Open Singles, Seniors and Novices competitions will take place later this month.
