GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The highly enjoyable and successful Mr Paint/Flashcor Printing Business League bowling competition kicked off on the greens of the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club on Thursday evening, 14 February.
Twenty-four teams (96 players) eagerly took to the greens, with Huis Eybers claiming the lead on + 16 shots, followed by the Police team in second place on + 11 upon conclusion of the evening's play.
With the second round of the Mr Paint/Flashcor Printing contested that following Thursday, 21 February, how the picture had changed. Police had taken over the lead on four game points, plus 19 shots. Spandau Spar was in second place on 4 + 17; with the third spot belonging to PG Glass on 4 + 15.
The third round was played this past Thursday evening, 28 February.
The current leaders are PG Glass on six game points, plus 32 shots. Spandau Spar is second on 6 + 27, with Midboard holding the third spot on 6 + 14. Nine teams are lurking in the wings, having lost only one game.
The penultimate round will be contested this Thursday evening, 7 March, starting at 17:30 sharp.
