GRAAFF-REINET — Eastern Province Biathlon has established a School League, which will encourage healthy competition among the Eastern Cape schools.
It is based on a points system where schools will earn points both for participation and achievement in the various age groups.
The Eastern Province Biathlon Championships took place in Port Elizabeth on Monday, February 20. Union congratulates their participating biathletes on their achievements at these championships. Gerrit Brink received a silver medal in the Boys’ U.19 category, Cameron Muir received silver in the Boys’ U.17 category, Candice Russel received silver and Micela Loock bronze in the Girls’ U.17 category.
Union High is currently placed sixth out of the 16 schools that are part of the EP Biathlon School League.
