GRAAFF-REINET GOLF NEWS - Seventeen-year-old Flippie Meyer took top honours in the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club Individual Stableford competition with 36 points on Saturday 28 September.
Meyer won on a count-out to André Marais. Charl du Plessis (34 points) was third, with Nick Steyn (32 points), fourth.
On September 21 and 22, senior golfers from Southern Cape, Eastern Cape, Border, Free State, and Northern Cape played their annual friendly inter-provincial tournament.
Visitors who were attending the wildlife summit enjoyed the beautiful Graaff-Reinet course on Friday 27 September. The Gold Rush sponsored Individual Stableford competition played on Wednesday 25 September, was won by André Olivier on a count-out to Jacques Wagener, both with 35 points.
Jaco Venter (31 points) came third on a count-out to four other players.
The Pick n Pay monthly medal will take place Saturday 5 October is. Tee-off is from 12 noon. Entries must be in by 11am.
