GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — This past Saturday, January 27, the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club hosted their monthly Medal competition.
The day's play was sponsored by Pick n Pay and saw Colin Warner walk away with top honours.
The A-section was won by Eddie Nel with a score of 74 Nett, while Warner won the B-section with a score of 70 Nett and Bernie Weyer won the C-section with a score of 73 Nett.
The weekly Wednesday IPS competition was cancelled as a result of thunderstorms - the Club recorded 29mm of rain for that day!
David Luscombe won the Friday Sundowner played on February 2 with a total of 20 points.
Diarise these dates:
• February 10: Bonus Bogey competition. Tee-off at 12:30
• February 11: EP Juniors - course closed from 08:00
• February 17: IPS competition
• February 23: Business League starts and will continue until March 16
• February 24: 3 Jacks & a Jill as well as Hit & Giggle
