GRAAFF-REINETS NEWS - This weekend will see more than 70 golfers battling it out for the Camdeboo Cup in the annual Town Versus Country matchplay competition at the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club.
To be played on Saturday 26 October, this is the third year of the epic event and the excitement is building up in the golfing community.
The rivalry between town and country comes a long way and the success and enjoyment of the previous years has attracted many players to enter for this year's event.
This tournament is played with teams of two golfers from each side who compete in a Ryder Cup-style format. It features six holes of foursomes, six holes of Better Ball matches and six holes of singles. Each player contributes to the team's point tally, ensuring that everyone gives their best.
Derek Helm is captain of the power-packed Town team with Neil Dodds at the helm of the Country team.
