GRAAFF-REINET GOLF NEWS - The Parsonage Street Congregational Church Golf Day held on Saturday was enjoyed by all.
The golfers were treated to tea, coffee and sandwiches when they arrived and a delicious meal at half-way.
The table was laden with prizes and most of the 42 golfers took something home as a memento of the very successful day.
Rowan George won the IPS competition with 39 points, Johndré Ludick was second with 38 points, Jacques Wagner third with 37 points and Frikkie Coetzee fourth on a count-out to Kenny Eaton, both with 36 points.
Rowan George was nearest the pin on 4/13 and Juan-Louis du Plessis was nearest the pin on 6/15.
The monthly Medal competition sponsored by Pick n Pay, as well as the Club Championships take place on Saturday 7 March.
The A and B sections will tee-off at 7am, C section and Seniors at 11am and the Ladies at 12.30pm with the Medal players. A spit braai, kindly sponsored by Johnny Ludick, will be provided after the prize-giving.
