GRAAFF-REINET GOLF NEWS - Graaff-Reinet golfer Weppie Weideman celebrated his 50th year as member of the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club last weekend. This loyal member has served on the committee, was Club Champion for many year, and represented the Karoo team.
Another player, Johnny Ludick, has returned victorious from representing the South African Police in the Interforce Cup held in Nelspruit. The SAPS team walked away with the trophy.

Individual Stableford Play Competition
Winner: Ferdi Gouws (38 points). Second: Noel Taylor-Freeme (37 points). Third: Jacque Wagener (33 points).
The Pick n Pay sponsored Medal Competition took place on Saturday 7 September. Tee-off is at noon. Players must enter the draw to be eligible to win prizes.
On Saturday 14 September the Narsingstraat Primary School will be holding their special golf day. On 21 and 22 September the Golf Club will host the seniors in their inter-provincial tournament.
