GRAAFF-REINET GOLF NEWS - The respective winners of the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club's club championships were presented with their winning trophies last Saturday.
Hoër Volkskool learner Jean-Louis du Plessis (18), was the winner of the Men's A Division and the new club champion. He was also the winner of the Holmes Cup.
Eddie Nel clinched the men's senior club title and Cherryl Waddelow, was crowned the ladies club champion.
In the men's division, the respective winners were:
- Colin Warner (B Division )
- Jacques Wagener (C Division).
- Johndré Ludick jr walked away with the Briscoe Cup.
- Peter Mosley won the President's Cup for his exceptional contributions to the club.
- Dan Yeadon won the prize for the "thinking golfer".
- Weppie Weideman won the Weideman Cup (medal competitions only).
