GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - On Saturday, 26 May, an IPS Stableford competition at the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club, hosted by the Pastoriestraat Congregational Church, attracted a large field of interested golfers.
Local golfer Rowan George came out on top (on a count-out) with 41 points.
Weppie Weideman came in a very close second, also with 41 points while Richard Swartz came in third with a score of 40 points.
Stoney Steenkamp hit a hole-in-one on No 6 during the day’s play.
The weekly Wednesday IPS competition, sponsored by Gold Rush, was won by Jaco Venter with 38 points, while Eddie Nel won Friday’s Sundowner with 20 points.
Diarise this date:
- This Saturday, 2 June, the club is hosting the second leg of their Club Champs “A” division competition. Tee-off will commence at 08:00.
- The monthky Medal, teeing-off at 11:30, will count for the Club Champs.
