GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - At the Pick 'n Pay sponsored Monthly Medal competition held on Saturday, 2 March, at the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club, Cheryl Waddelow played an exceptional round of golf, winning easily with 66 points.
Dennis Hendriks came in second with 72 points on a count out to Weppie Weideman.
Two clubs were played by Johnny Ludick, Godwin Bosch, Wally Gentry and Frikkie Coetzee while Dennis Hendriks beat Johnny Ludick in a Brisco Cup match.
The Gold Rush sponsored IPS competition played on Wednesday, 27 February, was won by Jacques Wagener with 37 points.
This Saturday, 9 March, a Better Ball competition will be contested at the club, with tee off from 12:30.
There are very few openings left for the Proudfoot Tournament to be played on 21, 22 and 23 March, golfers are advised to book as soon as possible (contact 040 555 0036 or 076 971 0138).
