GRAAFF-REINET GOLF NEWS - The Graaff-Reinet Golf Course was fairly busy over the Easter weekend.
On Wednesday 17 April, Weppie Weideman won the Gold Rush sponsored IPS with 39 points closely followed by Bets Henning with 38 points. Frikkie Coetzee was third with 36 points.
In the IPS competition played on Saturday Dave Luscombe had an excellent round and carded a 42. Bradley Costa was second on 39 points, third was Johnre Ludick (38), fourth Johnny Ludick (36) fifth Nick Steyn (34).
Vlam Pretorius beat Colin Warner in the Briscoe Cup competition.
On Saturday 27 April a Better Ball competition will be played. Please enter with a partner.
The official launch of the short course will take place on Wednesday 1 May and will be combined with the Goldrush Sporting and Tourism initiative.
