GRAAFF-REINET GOLF NEWS - A number of young players participated in the Bonus Bogey Golf Competition in Graaff-Reinet on Saturday 25 January - a very encouraging sign.
The first three places were closely contested, with NJ Arnoldi, Dawid Jansen and Johndre Ludick all scoring +1. On the count-out, Arnoldi was declared the winner.
In the Wednesday IPS competition, generously sponsored by Gold Rush, Wayno Ferreira came first with 36 points, followed by Colin Warner in second place on a count-out to Frikkie Coetzee, both with 33 points.
The golf club is becoming a popular venue on Monday mornings where parents enjoy 9 holes of golf and breakfast, after dropping their children at school. For more details contact Mark Hudson on 082 492 2806.
The monthly medal competition will be held on Saturday 1 February with tee-off from 1pm.
Bookings are now open for the annual Proudfoot Tournament on 19, 20 and 21 March.
