GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — On Saturday, February 11, the combination of Dennis Hendriks and JL du Plessis secured them a first place in the Betterball competition hosted by the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club.
The competition, which was sponsored by Nommerpas, saw Jaco Venter and P Ludick come in second with 22 points and Johnny Ludick and Johndre Ludick end third with 21points.
The competition was played over nine holes as a result of Saturday afternoon's rain deluge.
The Golf Club extends their thanks to Camdeboo Supermeat's Klaas Zandberg for his contribution to the competition's prizes.
Saturday also saw a Cup match played between Eddie Nel and Dennis Hendriks. Nel emerged triumphantly.
The weekly Wednesday IPS - sponsored by the Desert Springs Spur - was won by Colin Warner with 38 points.
• This Saturday, February 18, will see golfer teeing off at 12.30pm in an IPS competition.
