GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — This past Saturday, November 26, the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club hosted an IPS competition sponsored by Konica/Minolta.
Johan Brink came in first with 41 points, followed by Rico Bester in second place with 39 points and Johnny Ludick in third place with 37 points.
That same day, the annual North vs South competition was contested on the local greens.
Here the North team won by 47 points.
The weekly Wednesday IPS competition, sponsored by the Desert Springs Spur, was won by Johnny Ludick with 38 points.
• This Saturday, December 3, the Club will host their monthly medal competition followed by a steak braai.
The entry fee for the day's play is R150 per person. Golfers are invited to bring along their family and friends.
The additional fee for friends and family members is R50 per person. For those who do not want to braai, normal entry fees apply. Local golfers are asked to make an effort to attend the braai.
