GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Once again the ladies brightened up the Graaff-Reinet golf course with their enthusiasm and laughter this past Saturday, March 4, during a fun ladies day.
Ranging in ages from 11 to ... much older, they set off in groups of three with a husband or father as caddy/coach. This time each player had their own card to record the number of shots played on the shortened course.
The aim is to better their own score each time they play. All those who had played previously felt more confident and most completed the nine holes. There were a few first timers who eagerly promised to return next month.
Already there are some aspirant golfers who are thinking of joining the Club. The ladies were very grateful for the lovely gifts they received which were kindly donated by Wendy Brussouw and Pick n Pay.
The next fun ladies golf day will be on Saturday, April 1.
