GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — This past Saturday, May 20, the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club hosted a Bogey competition.
Noel Taylor-Freeme came first with a score of +5, followed by Niek Steyn in second place with a score of +5 (count out).
In a Kirber Cup match played on Saturday, Jaco Venter and Ian van der Merwe was beaten by Niek Steyn and Weppie Weideman who emerged the winners.
The weekly Wednesday IPS competition - played on May 17, André Olivier emerged the victor with a score of 46 points.
The May 19, Friday Sundowner, was won by Jacques Wagener with 19 points.
• This coming Saturday, May 27, golfers can enter a Betterball competition. Tee-off will commence at noon.
