GRAAFF-REINET SPORTS NEWS - FC Galaxy knocked out Birds United FC 3 - 2 in the last two minutes of the final game in the Sarah Baartman Nedbank Cup Competition held over the weekend in Graaff-Reinet at Masizakhe Stadium.
Eight teams from Graaff-Reinet that included Morocco Eagles, Real Madrid FC, Portugal Birds, Attackers FC, Academy Football, Black Arrows FC, FC Galaxy and Birds United FC participated in the competition.
Results:
- Morocco Eagles won 5 - 1 against Real Madrid.
- Portugal Birds defeats X1 Attackers 5 - 3 on penalties.
- Academy Football beat Black Arrows 5 - 4 on penalties.
- The second round will be played on Saturday 24 September.
