FOOTBALL NEWS - The Young Lions FC played against the Birds United FC on the Kroonvale soccer field on Saturday 20 May in the Four Nation Mini Tournament (FNMT).
In the final round, the Lions won 3 - 2. This newly established club is excited to beat one of the stronger teams in Kroonvale.
Valentino Alexander, coach of the Young Lions, said that this is their first win against the Birds. "The teammates are still quite excited about the big victory," says Alexander.
Teams that took part in the FNMT are FC Galaxy, Young Lions, Birds United and Kroonvale Legends FC.

- Young Lions won FC Galaxy 2 - 1
- Birds United FC won Kroonvale Legends FC 5 - 1
- Young Lions FC won Birds United and Birds 3 - 2, and won R600.
The teams are looking forward to play in the Oom Ka Memorial Games that are scheduled to start at the Kroonvale Soccer Field from 26 to 29 May.
The following teams will compete against one another, Birds United, FC Galaxy, Young Lions, Camdeboo Academy, Kroonvale Legends, Future Stars, Morrocco Eagles and Real Madrid.
