PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Cricketer and Plettonian Jean du Plessis was one of two Garden Route Badgers players to bag centuries while playing for their respective cricket clubs in the United Kingdom last week.
Du Plessis and Georgian Hanno Kotzé are both spending their SA off-season in the UK, enhancing their skills and abilities before returning in spring and summer for the 2023/24 SA cricket season.
Du Plessis, who plays for Welbeck Cricket Club, scored his seventh century of the season for his club in the Nottinghamshire Premier League. Kotzé, who plays in the Greater Manchester League, reached three figures for his club, Roe Green Cricket Club, against Heaton Cricket Club.
