GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Last week's Mountain Drive parkrun in Graaff-Reinet saw 81 participants. The walkers, joggers and runners participated in cooler conditions, especially considering the high temperatures in town days after the event.
Devon Dollies, with a time of 20:05, was first to cross the finishing line. About a minute behind was Lenrico van Wyk in second place (21:06), and an unregistered runner came in third.
Lorette Luscombe was the first of the women to cross the finishing line, in 28:00. In a new personal record of 31:34, was Tanya Fourie in second place. Hildegard Wessels came in third, when she completed the event in 33:05.

The event, which takes place each Saturday at 8am, was made possible by volunteers. The local parkrun is always looking for more volunteers, and interested parties can contact them on their facebook page.
