GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Well-known athlete Steven Knowles completed his 12th Comrades Marathon this past Sunday in a time of 11 hours and 39 minutes.
The achievement itself is remarkable but what is even more noteworthy is the fact that Knowles also competed the full Ironman in Port Elizabeth less than two month ago.
Knowles, who was a member of the Graaff-Reinet Running Club, runs in the colours of Correctional Services St Albans now.
He moved to Queenstown two years ago but will always have his running roots firmly planted in Graaff-Reinet.
