GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Despite cold weather, 87 people completed the Mountain Drive parkrun on Saturday.
Ten runners were first-timers and 24 recorded new personal bests.
Kaizer Cata ran the fastest on the day, with a time of 22 minutes and 14 seconds.Short on his trail was the first woman to complete the run, Jacqui Marais, with a time of 26:09.

The day would not have been possible without Volunteers Mike Calitz, Kim Spencer Primic, Paula van Rooyen, Lusan Luscombe, Rozelle Köhne, Peter Burdett, Danie Jackson, Shirley Spencer and Ken Taytasac.
Parkrunners received pancake and coffee vouchers at the entrance of the Mountain Drive parkrun, which they could redeem after the race at the NG Church's Winterfees and the Graaff-Reinet Community Market.
Despite the cold morning, runners were eager to conquer all the hills that the Mountain Drive route has to offer.
