NATIONAL NEWS - Much-loved comedian, Soli (Silamour) Philander, who died of cancer yesterday, Wednesday, 4 March will be sorely missed. He was just 65 years old.
Philander, who was also an actor, playwright and television presenter, was well-known as the host of Liriekeraai and Vat 'n Kans.
He was particularly famous for bringing the humour, language and everyday stories of the Cape Flats to national audiences through theatre, television and radio.
He is survived by his children Danya, Kyla, Caleb, and Ethan, and his foster daughter Lauren
