NATIONAL NEWS - Veteran South African actor Marius Weyers is recovering in hospital following an operation to replace his heart valve.
Netwerk24 reports that the 72-year-old was taken to a private hospital in Cape Town on Wednesday where the operation was performed.
A friend of Weyers is quoted as saying that the operation was successful.
Weyers is now recovering in ICU.
