GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The charred body of 81-year-old Miemie Regina Bantom of Riemvasmaak, Graaff Reinet, was recovered from her shack after it had been totally destroyed by fire last Saturday evening at around 21:34.
The body of the deceased was taken to the Graaff-Reinet mortuary.
The Graaff- Reinet Police have opened an inquest docket.
At this stage no foul play is suspected.
