GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Karoo Wine Club will host a wine-pairing luncheon at the Coldstream Restaurant in Graaff-Reinet on Saturday 27 September.
This very special occasion, which starts at 11:30, is a highlight of the year for the Santaville Soup Kitchen that will be the recipient of all the proceeds.
Unique wines can be savoured while enjoying a delicious meal.
The event is hosted by the Kriel Family Vineyards, a family deeply rooted in agriculture and the wine industry.
The owner, Philip Kriel, has been involved in viticulture for the greater part of his career and has always been responsible for nurturing the vines and harvesting the grapes.
“I’ve had the privilege of growing up with and learning from some of the greatest mentors in the South African wine industry,” says Kriel.
“However, I’ve always had the dream of going full circle by crafting my own wines and creating my own brand. The process has been exhilarating, and my wife and two sons, Gabriël and Viljé, have been involved throughout.”
With passion, faith and hard work, the dream of their own brand became a reality in 2024 and they are truly honoured to introduce Graaff-Reinet and the world to Kriel Family Vineyards.
The Karoo Wine Club invites the community of Graaff-Reinet to join them at Coldstream for an extraordinary luncheon that gives back to the local community.
