GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A Grade 12 learner at Union High School, Samantha Charles, has become only the sixth Unionite to receive the school’s top accolade, the Honours Award, since its inception in 2004.
This award recognises her exceptional academic achievement - maintaining a 90% academic average throughout her Grade 10 and Grade 11 years.
At the school’s Academic Awards Assembly on Friday morning, 16 January, Samantha received the highly coveted white blazer as a signature of the Honours Award.
Achieving success at this level is no small accomplishment.
