CRADOCK NEWS AND VIDEO - Two people have died while one sustained serious injuries in an accident involving two trucks on the N10 road just outside Cradock towards Middelburg.
The accident happened last night at about 19:30, under poor visibility due to smoke from veld fires.
The one truck with only a male driver was driving from the Middelburg direction when it collided with another truck traveling from the Cradock direction.
There were two people on board, a male and a female.
The two occupants of the one truck, a male and a female died on the scene while the driver of the other truck sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Cradock Provincial Hospital for medical treatment.
Poor visibility is the suspected cause of the accident. A culpable homicide case has been opened with Cradock SAPS for further investigations.
