GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Roll Up, Roll Up! The modern-day circus, started by an English Horseman, Philip Astley in 1768, has just turned 250 years old!
In celebration of this, the McLaren Circus has assembled a world-class production for our 2018 show programme. McLaren Circus feature top local and international acts from around the globe.
This year’s highlights include, the very talented Tiago Oliveria, from Brazil, who will delight you with his amazing juggling skills and thrilling Rolla-Bolla act.
Their hysterical clowns, Pixie and little Alick, will bring on the laughter with their antics. Direct from Venezuela, The Castillo Brothers will present their breath-taking Wheel Of Death act.
This two-hour, awe-inspiring, production furthermore includes acrobats, aerialists, and strength challenging acts.
Keeping to the tradition of a circus, the McLaren Circus has a beautiful line-up of spectacular animals. These include lions, tigers, poodles, horses, ponies, pythons, alligators and even miniature goats, presented by their very own Heidi.
Tickets will be available at the Ticket Office, which opens daily, on all show days. Every child aged 3 and up requires a ticket.
The McClaren Circus will be in Graaff-Reinet at their College Road Grounds on Friday and Saturday, 7 and 8 December with shows to be held at 19:00 on the Friday and 15:00 and 19:00 on the Saturday.
