GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Graaff-Reinetters are invited to venture to Somerset Street early this Saturday morning, September 2, to participate in a fun 2.3km fun run/walk in celebration of Spring.
Registration starts at 08:00 with the event kicking off at 09:00. Entry amounts to R10 per person and can be obtained from Polka.
The fun run/walk will commence and end in front of Polka.
As all funds generated by this event will be donated towards the work of the Camdeboo Hospice in Graaff-Reinet, any donations, monetary or otherwise, will be welcomed.
Entry of babies and toddlers with their prams, strollers, tricycles and scooters are free of charge.
Parental supervision for children aged 12 and under is required.
Add some colour to the event by dressing according to the event's theme of 'Spring'. A prize will be awarded to the best-dressed entrant with lucky draws also being awarded.
Beautiful weather is predicted for the day so why not make a day of it with the family and start the season of Spring in a fun and social way.
