GRAAFF-REINET NEWS & VIDEO - Long-standing Graaff-Reinet wrestler Slim 'the sensational' Shady defended her title against newcomer Domino 'the dominator' Sproat on Saturday, in a lockdown match of the ages.
Babyface Domino, weighing in at 1kg, was the favourite to win the three-round match, as his manager Vicky Sproat claimed the kitty has been nothing but energy since the lockdown started.
Sproat, who is also Slim Shady's manager and nutrition specialist for both cats, backed Shady, but was doubtful that her skills would outweigh the spunk that Domino brought to the ring.
Domino also had the upper paw in training, having watched Shady perfect her skills - the two cats, evidently, are also housemates.
However, Shady outsmarted Domino from round one.
Although Domino had a promising start, with a sequence of duck-unders, a few excellent headlocks and a skilful pin, Shady's patience saw out a soon-exhausted Domino - who is likely to dominate only one thing for the next few days - his nap spot.
Following Shady's convincing win, the humble feline did not wish to comment on the match. She simply went to her food bowl for a well-deserved post-match meal.

Defeated Domino had the following to say: "Meow…meow meow, meow."
Sproat told the Advertiser that there are no hard feelings between the two athletes, who are also good friends.
No kitties were injured during this 'match'.
