GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Camdeboo National Park embarked on a cleaning campaign this week to get Piekniekbos ready for the festive season.
Piekniekbos will be open from Friday 13 December until 2 January from 08:00 to 20:00 for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Grass has been cut, bushes cleared and weeds hoed while nine dustbins have been placed throughout the Piekniekbos area.
Camdeboo National Park management request that visitors keep the area clean and tidy at all times, keep safety and security in mind and respect the rules and regulations of the park.
Vandalism is a big problem at the site and management warned that illegal activities or disregard will result in the park being closed without any formal notice.
Visitors should note that apart from two pit latrines (long drops), there are no ablution facilities at the site.
Camdeboo National Park management ask that visitors keep Piekniekbos clean for everyone to enjoy.
