GRAAFF-REINET - Nqweba Secondary School in Graaff-Reinet held their matric farewell on Thursday 1 August at the Profcon Resort in town.

Upon their arrival at the venue in a variety of fancy vehicles, the matrics, dressed to the nines, were given a warm welcome by parents, family and friends as they walked down the red carpet. 

Many arrived as couples but just as many opted to attend the farewell on their own.

Naturally, the attendees and onlookers were snapping away with their phones to ensure that the memorable evening is shared on TikTok and other social media platforms.

Each guest received a welcome cocktail.  

The joviality increased as the guests each enjoyed a cocktail as an ice breaker before the ceremony started.

This stunning couple made heads turn. 

The Profcon venue was beautifully decorated in gold, rusty grass and a touch of orange.
