GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Repairs and maintenance to potholes and other infrastructure is currently taking place.

According to a notice from DBNLM, "The Municipality is aware that a lot of potholes developed after the recent rains. Also that some potholes that were repaired, reopened after the rain.

Potholes are being repaired continuously with a slight delay due to availability of resources.

Arrangements are in place for delivery of materials to repair the potholes.

As soon as materials are delivered, repair of potholes will continue.

Some streets in Bergendal and also Wes Street and Park Street requires slurry work. While the above slurry work cannot be done at the moment normal pothole repair will continue."

Update on Tronkdrift
The Municipality managed to repair another main line that is supplying sewer to the rising main at Tronkdrift.

While the main Hospital line was repaired, jetting of lines continued to get rid of sand and fat in the lines.

All the lines around cypress Grove has been jetted and manholes cleaned.
