COOKHOUSE NEWS - The Cookhouse police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after Jackson Faku was killed when he was hit by a white Renault sedan.
According to local police spokesperson, Capt Bradley Rawlinson, Faku was allegedly crossing the N10 approximately 4kms from Cookhouse on Monday 12 April when he was hit by the car driven by a 29-year old woman at 07:30 in the morning.
Faku was declared dead on the scene by EMS personnel on scene.
The driver of the vehicle escaped the accident without injuries. A case of culpable homicide was opened against her for investigation.
